4 pools in one day

Yesterday was a busy day. We went into Burlington to the Splash parknear Nelson School. We got there and the pool didn't open until 11 so we played on the playground for a bit before we had swimming fun. The kiddie pool was cold but the pool was very warm. Kendra was so proud of herself as she could just touch the bottom. She so wants to keep up with her swimming brother. She kept telling "Me do it", so you just have to watch like a hawk and be right there. Micah is doing so well with his swimming. He goes quite far now and he loves to dive down to the bottom of the pool from the top. He's a regular fish now.

After we left the pool at about 1:30 we stopped at the grocery store to get some lunch before heading over to La Salle Park on the other side of Burlington. We meet up with our friends Gwen and Kaleb (he was Jamie's best man at our wedding) that now live in British Columbia as Kaleb is a Children's Pastor for a church there. We played for a bit before they got there at 4 pm and the very warm splash pool was a big hit with Kendra and Micah. Kendra could touch through the whole thing. Wished I had gotten some pictures of Gwen and Kaleb though since we haven't seen them in 2 years.

They had to leave to go catch their airplane home and then we headed off to Shelly and Tav's for a BBQ with our small group. It was fun to meet up again as we are not getting together over the summer for bible study. Micah was again a fish in their swimming pool.

Also wanted add in that it's now 10 days until Hawaii. Very excited.

A little while ago Micah was out with his grandparents and I got this hilirous story from them about what happened in the Ikea one day.

" Only one other stall occupied by a teen. Henri asks Micah after 15 minutes if everything is going okay. Micah says, "Yes Pompa. It's just taking a long time to come out!" Teen snickers and so does Henri. Then Micah looks under the stall at the teen and said, "I hope I'm not stinking this up too much for you." "
