Church Christmas Play

Today we went to church in the morning. An interesting message on the genelogy in Matthew. The title was called four women, a thread and a cord. It focused on the passage in Matthew 1 where the genelogy mentioned mostly the men but there were also four women mentioned, Ruth, Bathesba, Tamar and Rehab. We went thorough the accounts in the bible of these women (most of which were prostitutes) showing how Jesus' linage was not perfect and how we all can be part of the God's kingdom no matter what your family background.

Later in the evening we had Jamie's parents and Avie over for dinner before going to church for the kids Christmas play. Micah was singing with the 2-3 year olds for a song at the beginning with his instrument (his favourite part). Micah got up there okay and was having a blast with his shaker but the best part was Micah spotted Grandpa taking pictures and he was off to find him.

The play was excellent and the kids did a wonderful job. The story was well done and really made the real meaning of Christmas shine. We did manage between the Grandparents, Auntie Avie and Jamie and I to keep Micah and Kendra busy thorough the whole thing (about an hour). Micah was dancing on the chairs trying to do all the actions with the older kids. He was so cute!!

Kendra is also 10 months old today. I usually try to get pictures with the same bear to see how she is growing but she doesn't really like to cooperate these days. She kept rolling over and standing up in the crib NOT laying down.
