Happy 4th birthday Kendra

Last week was Kendra's fourth birthday. She has been talking about her birthday since the baby was born. She ended up having 5 different parties: one with Jamie's parents, one with my mom and grandma, one with just our family, her friends party and then up to Kitchener to the hockey game with Auntie Avie on Sunday.

Kendra's friends party was just a few friends, the neighbours Lexi and McKenna, Alana and Larissa (the girls I used to babysit) and Leah (another neighbour from around the corner). My neighbour stayed with me for the party which was a blessing as she took Ethan so that I could do the games, food and such. We did an egg and spoon race, a pinata and then just had some dinner and cake before the presents.

Kendra at four years old:

Can get her coat on by herself and do up the zipper

Loves to talk, even to herself

She plays well by herself

Can play computer and Wii all by herself

Draws people with a head and a body, complete with belly button and fingers and hands

Loves to make crafts and pictures for people

Goes to Beamsville preschool three mornings a week

Loves to dance in her princess dresses, fairy wings and gymnastic suits/bathing suits

Seems to get bladder infections alot because she doesn't drink enough

Doesn't like to eat her dinner at most times

Weighs 32 lbs and is 3 ft __ inches high

Has gotten out of wearing only dresses and loves pants now

Loves gum and can blow bubbles

Runs on her toes everywhere

Loves to swim and can swim short distances on her own

Still loves the bath, especially with her new baby brother, Ethan

Loves money and likes to steals mommy's change to put in her purse

Knows most of her letters and sounds and can count to 15 well
