Happy 95th Birthday Grandma White

We had a birthday dinner in town for my grandma's 95th birthday party. We had it early so that the kids could come and also so that grandma wouldn't get tired out. I made a birthday cake and took it to the restaurant but by the time we ate everyone had to get going somewhere ( my mom had to get one of her students back into town). Micah helped make the cake and he also made her a birthday card. I put on Happy Birthday Great Grandma and then drew a picture of Great Grandma underneath it and he wrote his name inside with a picture of him. So cute!!

Because we didn't get to do the cake we took it home and Micah wanted to sing with the candles. So we sang, and we sang and we did it again and again. The last time he had the whole package of candles on the cake and he blew out those one by one. He is still working on his blowing aim but it's so cute to see him try.

The lady that needed daycare didn't show up today. I called her at 3:45 pm asking when she was coming and she totally forgot to call. Apparently, her normal daycare has extended the time that he will be able to go there. She (Melanie was her name) would keep my name and number for later. Kind of sucks but I got lots of cleaning and yard work done in the past two days. Will have to try to do some more yard work tommorrow as the weather seems to be so nice this week (upper teens).
