Belated Canada Day

For Canada Day we went out with my dad and his wife Laura. We decided to go to the Aquarium just over the border in Niagara Falls. The trip wasn't bad considering it was a holiday and the aquarium was fun although it was very small. They had sealions and lots of different fish to look at. There was a sealion show and a magic show. After the Aquarium we headed for ice cream.











We had decided since we were over in Niagara Falls that we would go see the Falls from the American side since none of us had really seen it before. We parked and walked over the pedestrian bridge over to Goat Island. We walked about a kilometer and then we at a lookout of the Horseshoe Falls. You don't get the picturesque view like the Canadian side but you are right there watching the water after 6 feet from you. Totally different advantage point to see the falls. There were other things to do but we didn't really think that the kids wanted to go too much more so we headed back to Dad and Laura's for dinner.










Jamie's sister had also been down at his parents so we took a quick trip over to his parents house before going home. It was a long long day and the kids wanted to do sparklers even though it was 10:20 at night (way past their bedtime).
