Disney World trip

Time is flying and so I'm quickly trying to update the blog.

We went to Florida this year from February 5-12th with my mom. We stayed at the Old Key West condos inside of Disney World. It was Ethan's first trip on an airplane. It went well getting there but once we got there he had a fever and lack of sleep made him cranky. We survived and he did catch up on sleep and we had a great time.






We had passes to go to Disney everyday so we did Hollywood Studios the first day. We saw alot characters here. The kids did signiture books this time and we inserted the pictures later.





The next day was Animal Kingdom. This was the first time Grandma had been there. Lots of stuff to see. We ended up going two part days as we had some dinners planned.








We went to the Hoopdy Do Dinner at Fort Wilderness Resort Campground the one evening. We got to ride the boat over (which was Ethan's first boat ride). The actors were right in front of us and Ethan was a bit distracting for them sometimes playing peek-a-boo with his napkin.





After the dinner mom and I took the kids to try to catch the Chip and Dale's campfire. We missed it but we still got to have some marshmellows. We got some great shots of lights going back on the boat to Magic Kingdom before going to the resort.




The next day was at Epcot. It rained for most of the day but we still had fun. We started out trying to do a Kim Possible game but it didn't last very long (I think the kids were a bit young). The kids enjoyed collecting these masks with a tag from each country.





In the morning before Kendra's birthday we went to Downtown Disney so the kids could spend their money they got from Grandma for the trip. Kendra got herself a full stacked My Little Pony with outfits, a Cinderella pen and a Princess colouring book. Micah got two sets of Star Wars Lego men and a light saber. The kids also went swimming too.






Later in the day we went to Magic Kingdom at night to see the Fireworks and get Kendra's hair done for her birthday. We caught the tail end of the parade and did a few quick rides before Kendra's hair appointment. She really enjoyed the Bibbitty Bobbitty Boutique with her short hair and all. They figured out how to get it to stay up in bun like she wanted. Afterwards, we enjoyed the electric parade and the fireworks.





On Kendra's birthday we went back to Magic Kingdom to enjoy more of the rides and the rest of the park. Later we went to have dinner with Cinderella at the 1900 Park Fare. We had to take the Monorail over to the Grand Floridian and we got to meet Cinderella, the Prince and the step mother and sisters. We had a little cake for Kendra to blow out.





The next day we left to go home. Quite a fun filled adventure to Disney World.
